Spotty ("we," "us") provides scheduling and AI admin software to independent beauty and barber studios ("studios"). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how it applies to text messages sent through Spotty — both to studio owners and to a studio's clients.
By booking an appointment, joining a waitlist, or otherwise providing a phone number to a studio using Spotty, a client agrees to receive text messages related to their appointments (confirmations, reminders, cancellation/waitlist offers) and, where a studio has marketing texts enabled, occasional promotional messages.
We don't sell client or studio data to third parties. Data is shared only with: the studio a client has an appointment with, and the service providers we rely on to operate Spotty (SMS/carrier delivery, hosting, and payment processing) — each bound to use it only to provide that service.
We retain data for as long as a studio's account is active, and afterward only as long as needed for legitimate business or legal purposes.
To access, correct, or delete personal data, contact the studio you booked with directly, or reach out to us — we'll route the request to the right place.
Spotty is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
We'll update the date at the top of this page when this policy changes. Material changes will be communicated to studio owners directly.
